Yashasvi Jaiswal: The 56th match of IPL 2023 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals. This match was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. In this match, Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson won the toss and invited the host team to bat first. On the other hand, KKR’s team had set a target of just 150 runs in 20 overs in front of Rajasthan’s strong batting line-up. Which Yashasvi Jaiswal sowed with his fiery innings.

He also scored the fastest fifty in the history of IPL. He led the team to victory by 9 wickets. For which he was also awarded the title of Player of the Match. After the match, he has praised a platform like IPL. At the same time, he has given a big reaction regarding Sanju and Butler.

“Me and Sanju were only talking about finishing the game early. (On Butler’s run out) I think this happens in sports, it gives me more responsibility to do better. And Sanju bhai came and said keep playing my game, and don’t think about that run out. I am thankful for tournaments like IPL where youngsters like me can come and perform. It has been a great platform for players like me to fulfill my dreams.

Significantly, Yashasvi Jaiswal played an unbeaten inning of 98 runs in just 47 balls while playing a stormy innings in this match. His innings included 13 fours and 5 sky-high sixes.
