Now after Shailesh Lodha, actress Jennifer Mistry, who played the role of Mrs. Roshan Sodhi, has also said goodbye to the show.
Jennifer has also accused the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi of sexual harassment. He has lodged a complaint against Asit Modi and two people of his production team at Mumbai’s Powai Police Station.
In an exclusive conversation with Tv9 Bharatvarsh, Jennifer said that ‘my 14 years of exile is over and I am very happy. Actually these people are very powerful people. They keep you scared. I used to get scared thinking how to open my mouth in front of them. But slowly the dam of patience broke. Was intimidated so much that now the fear is over.
Jennifer said that some comments made by Asit Modi made her uncomfortable. Although she ignored initially, but in 2019 when Taarak Mehta’s team went to Singapore for shooting, she says that Asit Modi told her that Jennifer your lips look very nice, I think what should I do after listening to this Jennifer Was stunned.
Further, Jennifer said that in the same trip, she was also told by Asit Modi that Munmun would go out at night, what would you do alone, let’s drink whiskey together. Jennifer was very scared after hearing these words of her.
The Tarak Mehta actress says that if this is happening to her, then she cannot even imagine what would happen to a one day artist. Actress Jennifer, who plays Mrs. Sodhi, has made many more serious allegations. He says that after the Singapore incident, his screen space was reduced.
