Imran Khan: A division bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday granted bail to former Prime Minister of Pakistan and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan. The great thing is that Imran Khan has got bail in all the cases. Information has been received that Imran has got relief from arrest till May 17.
A day earlier in the Al-Qadir Trust case, the Supreme Court had termed his arrest from the High Court premises as illegal and illegal. While releasing Imran Khan, the Supreme Court had directed him to approach the High Court for bail.
A division bench of Judge Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb and Saman Rafat Imtiaz heard the PTI chief’s bail plea in court number 2. Detailed order in the matter is still awaited. According to Dawn News, Imran’s lawyers had also filed 4 additional petitions, in which the High Court was appealed to add all the cases against Imran and to direct the authorities to release the information about the cases registered against him.
Today, when the hearing was going on in the court room, the room echoed with slogans raised in favor of Imran Khan. During this, the court staff tried to stop the sloganeering. However he failed to do so. On this, Judge Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb expressed his displeasure and immediately left the courtroom postponing the hearing on Khan’s bail plea.
Please tell that Imran Khan had reached Islamabad High Court with a convoy of tight security. Hundreds of policemen and paramilitary forces have been deployed here. Now in the Al-Qadir Trust case, his biometrics were taken immediately after he reached the court.
