Chasing the target of 219 runs, Gujarat Titans’ innings looked shaky from the very beginning. None of the Gujarat batsmen could be seen staying at the crease. Mumbai eventually won the match by defeating Gujarat by 27 runs. After the victory, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma made a big disclosure about Surya’s batting.

In the post-match presentation after the win, captain Rohit Sharma made a big disclosure about the batting position of Surya, who scored a brilliant century. Speaking in the post match presentation, Rohit said,“It was an interesting game, especially from our point of view, glad to get the two points. It was enjoyable, bat first and then come out and defend the score.”
Talking about his team’s bowling, Captain Rohit Said, “We kept taking wickets and in this format you have to do that, our bowlers bowled brilliantly. Surya has got confidence. We wanted to have a right-left combination but Sky came and he wanted to go in, but I was thinking a right-left combination would happen.”
Complimenting Surya’s innings and his confidence, skipper Rohit Sharma said,“He has a different kind of confidence and it rubs off on others. He wants to start afresh every game and does not look back at the previous game. Sometimes you can sit back and feel proud of what you have done but not with him.”
