Kolkata : The order for CBI inquiry into the corruption case in Municipal Corporation appointment in West Bengal will be restored. Justice Amrita Sinha’s bench has given this order on Friday. Justice Abhijit Ganguly had ordered a CBI inquiry into the corruption in the body’s appointment, which was later transferred to Justice Sinha’s bench. There the state government had demanded a stay on the CBI probe. The admit cards for municipal appointments were found from the house of Trinamool leader Ayan Sheel, arrested in corruption case. After this, a petition demanding a CBI inquiry was filed in the court. CBI inquiry was ordered in the same case.

Advocate Vikram Banerjee said on Friday that corruption has taken place in all the appointments of the state government. The state police cannot investigate the case as it contains the names of many influential people. Now the CBI will investigate this and reveal the truth.
