A herd of about 6 elephants from the forest has entered the fields around the villages in the Kuppam mandal area. They have also caused heavy damage to standing crops. According to the information, a woman near Mallanur village was going to the station on Friday morning to catch the train. Meanwhile, a herd of 6 elephants attacked him. The woman was crushed to death. There, a farmer was going to work in the fields. During this, he was also crushed to death. After these two incidents, the villagers were very scared.

Forest Department officials and police are trying to send the herd of elephants back to the forest. In search of food, elephants often enter the fields and destroy the fields and gardens and go back to the forest. If someone is seen in front, they crush him. Chittoor District Forest Officer (DFO) Chaitanya Kumar Reddy says that people were already warned about the activities of elephants.

The DFO says that the two elephants were driven away from Krishnagiri in Chittoor district by the people and forest officials. Meanwhile, a herd of four elephants consisting of one male, two females and a baby. At the same time, he got electrocuted while trying to uproot an electric transformer in Katragadda village of Parvathipuram Manyam district. According to Pandey, on Thursday night when these elephants collided with the transformer, they had received information about six elephants entering the area.
