A case of molestation of a four-year-old innocent has come to light in a school in Delhi’s Rohini area. In her complaint to the police, the girl’s mother told that on May 9, when she (the girl) was playing in her school, some ‘mustache’ man molested her. The police have arrested the peon of the school after getting the girl medical.
According to the police, in the complaint lodged at the South Rohini police station on Wednesday, the girl’s mother had accused the school staffer of molesting her daughter.
A senior police officer said that based on the complaint of the girl’s mother, a case was registered against the accused under section 354B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
The police officer said, ‘The only clue we had was that the accused man had a moustache. The girl was admitted to the school only on May 1. He said that the girl was medically examined at the hospital,
And later he was counselled. The police officer said, ‘Sunil Kumar (43), a resident of Sultanpuri, was arrested after the accused was identified by the girl on Thursday morning. He works as a Class IV employee in the school.”
